Backstory

Personality
Tony Black wasn’t born a monster. He was a father. A husband. A regular man living in the shadow of a world that had outgrown its own humanity. Years after the Tri-Core event rewrote the rules of existence, Tony was out with his wife and seven-year-old daughter when everything changed. During a catastrophic battle between Titanium and another Powerhuman, the collateral destruction tore through the streets. Civilians scattered. Buildings fell. And in the chaos, his wife and child were crushed.
He woke up surrounded by screams. Smoke in his lungs. Blood in his mouth. He turned, and saw Titanium, fighting through the wreckage, trying to help. Trying to save who he could. But it was too late. Tony crawled to the remnants of his daughter’s body, finding only her broken watch, the one he gave her, which he kept as a reminder of her.
He spiraled. He couldn't go on living normally. He couldn't pretend nothing had happened, so he tried to end his life. Failed. Again. And again. Until the pain turned cold. And he made a new vow: if no one would hold these gods accountable, he would. He disappeared into the underworld, became a vigilante, then an assassin. Quiet. Precise. Deadly. He took contracts the MVA wouldn’t touch. Cleaned the filth they ignored. And one day, he came back, not as an agent. But as a weapon.
He killed the Director. Took control. And rewired the MVA into something new. Something brutal. Something prepared.
Now, he commands armies. Leads black ops raids. And builds weapons not to contain Powerhumans… but to erase them.
To the world, Tony Black is cold. Ruthless. Unshakable. But beneath that stone face is a storm. He wears his suit like armor and his silence like a scar. He rarely speaks unless it matters, and when he does, it’s final. There’s no room for idealism in his world, only results. But deep down, Tony is still grieving. Still trying to make sense of a world that took everything from him and left him behind to remember.
He doesn’t want control. He wants justice. Real, permanent justice. Even if that means becoming the villain in someone else’s story.

The moment the explosion tore through the streets, the watch was the only piece of her left intact enough to recognize. The watch that had been passed down for generations stopped with Tony's daughter. On that day the watch broke and so did he.
The world kept moving… but Tony didn’t. 22:09. The time he died.
RECOIL

Before the MVA, Tony Black wasn’t a leader. He was a trigger. A shadow in the kill order.
One of the Five Fates, the most lethal squad in black-ops history.
He received missions anonymously. He executed them without question. No name. No past. No hesitation. But when a mission exposed the truth he'd be hiding deep down, he knew it was time for a change.
DIRECTOR OF MVA

The Meta Vigilance Authority was founded to monitor, regulate, and assist Powerhumans around the world. On paper, it was an organization built for peacekeeping, diplomacy, and containment.
A guiding hand for the super-powered. A bridge between humanity and those who had surpassed it. But peace is a lie when you can punch through buildings. And Tony Black knew it.
During his years as Recoil, he completed dozens of classified contract hits for the MVA, quietly removing threats that jeopardized their stability, both from within and without. Corrupt Powerhumans. Political whistleblowers. Dangerous assets gone rogue. He was their invisible scalpel. Until he saw the machine behind the mission. The infrastructure. The resources. The reach. And he realized... this wasn’t a peacekeeping force. It was a sleeping army. So he woke it up.
One bullet. One second. The MVA Director was dead. Tony took his place. Not by vote, but by force. No one spoke. No one stopped him. Because the people who could… were already dead. Under Tony’s command, the MVA was reforged into a military engine. Workers turned to soldiers. The alien material from the Tri-core was abused, and Powerhumans started dropping silently.
Those who stayed learned quickly.
Disagreeing with Tony Black wasn’t an option... it was a death sentence. But over time… they stopped resisting. And they started believing in his clarity. In his ruthlessness. In his vision:
A world where humanity takes the power back.

FIVE FATES
FIVE FATES

BLACK TIGER
STICK-MAN
DEADEYE
THE NIMROD
The Five Fates are the deadliest operatives within a nameless, invisible organization. No one knows who runs it. No one knows how many work under it. Not even the assassins themselves. Orders are delivered anonymously, stripped of context. Just a name, a location, and a window of time to eliminate the target. There are no questions. There is no communication. And once the mission is complete, there is no trace left behind.
Within this silent system, there exists a select group of operatives who have never failed, never hesitated, and never left loose ends. They are not a team in the traditional sense. They do not work together often. But when they do, it means the mission is beyond critical. These five are known only as the Five Fates.
Each Fate has their own method, their own skillset, and their own code. One may strike from a distance, another in the dark. Some leave a body. Some don’t. Their methods are unpredictable. Their appearances vary. But the outcome is always the same: total removal.
No one ever knows which Fate is coming for them. You don’t get to choose. You only get a guarantee: once your name is on the list, it’s already too late.
