THIS IS MY STORY
Hello there,
First off I want to thank you for showing interest in the story I created and the story behind it.
My name is Kasra (Kai) Mafi, and I'm a man of many interests. One of the biggest? Storytelling.
It’s funny how I discovered that passion. Like many people, I loved watching movies, shows, and playing video games. But I always found myself thinking, "What if this happened instead?" or "What if they made this choice?" Without realizing it, I was rewriting stories in my head, creating my own versions. That was the spark.
Superheroes were always my biggest inspiration. I was obsessed with how something so unreal, someone who could fly or become invincible, could still feel so real. These larger-than-life characters were grounded by human struggles. My favorite was always Batman. From the Lego Batman game on Xbox 360 to the animated series I used to watch every night before bed, he was my go-to escape after long school days or tough times. But there was always one thing that frustrated me. I never felt Batman got the justice he deserved on the big screen. The animated series and games captured him so perfectly, but live-action movies never quite hit the mark for me. So I did what any passionate fan would do. I wrote my own Batman movie. I loved the story, but reality hit: I wasn’t going to get the rights to Batman, nor was I ever going to raise millions of dollars to make a movie.
So I moved on with my life. Left the script to rest in some documents. One day, I stumbled upon an ad for Kickstarter. I was blown away by the idea, that creators like me could fund their own projects. But I was skeptical. Who would support me? Even if I got the funding, how would I actually make a movie? Then one night, I picked up a comic book and it hit me. Why not make this a comic? I researched the costs, the process and for the first time, I thought: "This is doable."
So I started writing. And I didn’t want a knockoff Batman. I wanted something original. So I changed the character. I gave him a new name, a new design, and slowly, he became my own hero. One character became two. Two became ten. Before I knew it, I had an entire superhero universe, although it is nowhere near the size of Marvel or DC, compared to them, whether it's a main- or side character, every single one of them have their own story, purpose, and path. I can say with confidence that I put my heart and soul into this universe.
Now, after two failed Kickstarter attempts, I’m back for my third. I’ve learned so much from those past campaigns. Most important realization, it’s not just about the money. It’s about building something people care about. Because even if I finish the project for free... what’s the point if no one wants to reads it?
If you’ve read this far, thank you. It means the world. And just so you know, superheroes are just the beginning. I have more stories, more worlds I want to bring to life. Ranging from all genres and whether it will be presented through comics, shows, games, or films, I can tell you... It will happen.
All I need... is a kickstart.

THE FUTURE?
I’m not getting ahead of myself, I’m just excited to finally share some of the other stories I’ve built outside the superhero universe. These are complete stories that I’ve developed alongside Titanium. But make no mistake, Titanium is my main focus. This is just a little peek at what else lives in my world.
